Solar Electric Technician Certificate and Individualized Studies AAS Concentration

Upon successful completion of the Solar Electric Technician Certificate program, the graduate will be able to:

1. Install solar electric (photovoltaic) systems applying nationally accepted industry standards.
2. Maintain solar electric systems applying nationally accepted industry standards.
3. Test and adjust solar electric systems using nationally accepted industry standards.
4. Safely and accurately diagnose common malfunctions for solar electric equipment.
5. Perform corrective repairs for solar electric equipment.

Upon successful completion of an AAS in Individualized Studies program, the graduate will be able to:

1. Apply effective oral communication skills in various contexts.
2. Write effectively in various contexts.
3. Solve college-level mathematical problems.
4. Demonstrate competency in the use of various computer applications.
5. Apply the scientific method to a problem related to a social science discipline.
6. Apply the scientific method to a problem related to a natural science discipline.
